1OO BEST IPHONE APPLICATION

The 100 Best iPhone Apps (update)How stale are the apps on your iPhone? If you're in need of some new apps for the new year, this list of the 100 best iPhone apps can certainly point you in the right direction. From tried-and-true favorites to new releases, the apps that made this list of the 100 best cover all the bases.
Here at Mobileandpcworld and our sister siteAppScout, my colleagues and I test hundreds of mobile apps each year, writing reviews and sharing helpful tips when we find excellent apps that will improve your mobile phone experience, or just make life easier.
Many of the apps that have made it to this list have been thoroughly tested and rated by MOBILEANDPCWORLD analysts, and when that's the case, you'll find a link to the complete review alongside a star rating.
Other apps on this list come from our own personal use as well as the advice of readers, friends, and colleagues.
Before you check out the complete list of the 100 best iPhone apps, let me address a few frequently asked questions:
100 slides? Are you kidding?
You do not have to click 100 slides to see the apps in this article. The slideshow is only one way. Another way is by using the table of contents that appears at the top right side of this block of text. You'll notice gray links that indicate different groups of apps, such as Browsers and Reference (1-7) and Utilities (16-26), and so forth. (There's also a not-so-secret print button that puts all the text on one page!)
Wait. Haven't I seen this list on Mobileandpcworld before?
You bet. We update the list frequently to reflect new apps that come out.
You left out some of the most important apps, like Safari, iTunes, and Siri! What's up with that?
Ahem, Siri is a feature of the operating system—not an app—and those others come preinstalled on iPhones. Seeing as you don't have a choice about owning them, we exclude them from the possible list of the 100 best iPhone apps.
